Week in Review: Camping and 30 weeks

Last Friday night we went camping to my friend's old campground.
It only made sense that Anika wanted to wear her ballet/princess dress camping.

Roasting marshmallows around the campfire

Getting in the tent to go to sleep

She was pretty excited!

She was up at 2 AM- 3 AM just wide awake talking!! I just fell back to sleep.

Then up again when it was light out..had to go pee. It was 40 degrees out, but we were nice and toasty in our tent. Andrew and I have down mummy bags. Anika wouldn't even stay in her sleep sack!

We packed up pretty early. Andrew had a hair cut at 8:30 half hour away. haha.

MORE garden veggies. We shouldn't let them get this big, but sometimes I miss some and Andrew picks a lot on weekends.

She likes to do her "balance" with daddy a lot.

Anika has been sleeping in her crib with the rail off for a while. This weekend, we moved the crib into our room and made it back into a crib. We bought another bed up from the basement for Anika.  Getting ready for Leni! We had to take most of the crib apart to fit though the doors and move it down the hall 10 feet. I am using it to put my baby stuff in for now while I go through things.

Swimming on Monday with her cousin.

A friend sent me some newborn diaper covers. I am going to use prefolds on the baby in the beginning.  I was excited to get these covers.  Same friend sent me a bead too!! SO, I can have a birthing necklace.  I am pretty excited about that. I had never heard of them until about a year ago and I collected beads and made one for a friend and I have been excited to have one too.  My friend is going to make mine for me after I get my beads from friends and family.

I have been drinking so much of this tea as ice tea. I make a big batch and keep it in the fridge.

But, if I drink it hot, I like to eat chocolate and have it melt it in my mouth! lol.

I had SOO many tomatoes and more growing everyday, so I canned some.  My full big bag made this. ha. I will have to can again in a few weeks when I have more.

I am trying to sell these. They were a mistake order. Long story and such a headache. Not returnable on amazon where they came from.

My mom picked up this cute pea coat for A.

And this North Face jacket for only $35! That's a bargain..it was at the outlet in Maine she went to.

AND, here I am at 30 WEEKS pregnant this time.

After my workout at the gym I took photos in the locker room when no one was in there :)

After my shower.

I was looking for photos of me 30 weeks pregnant with Anika on my old blog...I found some of these....
This was more like 33- I am glad I wont be doing wood for this pregnancy, but I also am not so pleased to have a newborn in winter. This pregnancy was planned- what was I THINING!? Another winter baby was just stupid on my part! And, the start of winter, no less. Ugh.

30 weeks with Ani-omg my fat face!!!

30

I was trying to figure how much I weighed at 30 weeks with Anika, but of course I didn't record that anywhere because I was so upset. This blurb from my old blog does say I was up 28 pounds around 30 weeks...im not up that much this time, but I also started heavier this time.  I need to really be careful. My only pregnancy symptom is extreme weight gain...and I am grateful I don't have any other symptoms, but this one does bother me a bit.  I just eat too much. ha

My friend said to me yesterday that my lifestyle doesn't change while pregnant at all except no more wine! lol. That is pretty much accurate! Nothing else changes.  I am hosting a bach party on Cape Cod this weekend and being over 30 weeks, I will definitely have a glass of wine while down there.

  1. It shouldn't change! That's why you have easy pregnancys and a normal little girl :)

    Looking great. I think it's a boy!!!

  2. I always gain a ton of weight too, 50 and 60 lbs...whoa!!! You look great though, nice little round belly.

We are suppose to go camping this weekend in a tent but its suppose to be 40 at night and I'm worried the kids will get cold.
